ReplyDeleteGardening will be a big part of my spring (as soon as the rain stops). This year I'm concentrating on root vegetables-beets, carrots, potatoes, etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I love to see all the blooming flowers in spring~ I think that is what I love most about spring!!! Since I live in an apartment, I do not have a garden to play in, but I do my best with pots of plants on my balcony. I think I will be planting some herbs and flowers, as soon as the baby doves who are living in my pot fly away~
ReplyDeleteI love all the birds returning to nest in the spring. I have a perinneal flower garden surrounding the house for them and the butterflies, but my favorite is to plant sunflowers every year.....it is always a challenge to see if they can sprout before the chipmonks get to all the seeds!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway, you have such lovely designs/

Springtime! Oh I love the idfferent seasons and just as I tire of the long, cold, grey days of winter, spring comes happily along. As each different variety of daffodil blooms I get more excited. I love planting the daffodil, grape hyacinths and tulips bulbs in fall and wait in anticipation of their blooming in the spring. But I truly think my favorite part of spring is the emerald green of the grass! Crazy I know! But it seems soft and lush and just waiting for bare feet and is refreshing after looking at a brown and barren yard all winter. Nice giveaway and thanks for the opportunity. Email. Red1974@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love springtime, sitting in my sunroom with the window open, listening to the birds and watching the squirrels play.
ReplyDeleteLove the patterns, what a nice give a way.

My favorite part of spring time is waking up to the birds singing in the morning. Some mornings I wake up really early and open the window just to hear their happy songs! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Spring...all the birds will begin their nest building...my hubby will be adding more plants to our garden. I love sitting outside to do my stitching. We have a small pond and the sound of the fountain is soothing to stitch by. Living in Arizona, the weather is always nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway! Spring is my favorite season. I just love being able to open the windows and have my cat sun herself on the windowsills being happy to have the breeze come in the house again. It's cool again here -- I wish those spring temps would come back!

Oh, I love spring time. I have a small garden of hosta's and some herbs. My chives come back every year. I love seeing them come up. The lillies and exspecially the clematis that comes back. It is really taking off now and needs to get pinned up again. I love the smell of fresh cut grass after a hard winter. That smell always tells me it is definately spring. I love watching the bunnies run at night around the neighborhood. Catching them in the head lights as I come home from work late or driving along and spying one in the grass, nibbling away. I always have to call out to the bunnies and say Hi, Mr. Bunny. I also love to see the Robins hooping around looking for worms or nest building materials and watching off to where they fly.
ReplyDeleteI am just trying to enjoy every minute I can and also stiching up some long overdue UFO's. I will be set if I was lucky enough to win you generous drawing. I will need some new projects soon. Thanks for the opportunity. Hope your enjoying spring too. My email is mrebec4@hotmail.com.

Love the Spring Daffodils- they return every year and I know winter is over!
ReplyDeleteI live in Colorado - our springtime here is the best! No humidity. Beautiful Mts. in the distance with snow on the top reminds me that the snow is far far away frome me - right where I like it. The deer come out a lot more to drink from the creek behind us and the ducks in the creek continually do the Happy Dance. Of all the places I've ever lived, the skies are bluer here than anywhere & especially in the spring and summer seasons. I love your blog and I check it everyday - your designs astound me ( - : Thx for the way too generous giveaways. Bless you.

ReplyDeleteSpring is in bloom here in central Illinois. I love the lilacs, tulips and daffodils in Spring. They are all blooming early this year... I love the warm breezes and thunderstorms that arrive in Spring also. The rain makes everything outside feel washed and vibrant.

Fresh cut grass and flowers! That's what I enjoy in the springtime. I love your charts.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of spring, for me, is watching the grays and browns left over after winter slowly being replaced by bright yellows and greens. Also, just knowing that the best part of the year is all ahead. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the chance to win these charts!
What a great way to start the spring, with a give-away! Thanks for organizing it!
ReplyDeleteI love the spring, because my little apple tree is blossoming. And just walking with my dog, seeing all the little lams, swans, and ducks, just around the corner from where my home is.

My favorite part of spring is taking an evening walk with the extended daylight and smelling the freshly mowed lawns. For me it's the signal that we will all be getting outdoors more.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having this great giveaway! My email is artlvr52@gmail.com
Spring in central southeast Oklahoma is delightful. I lived 'up north' for years. Spring bursts onto the scene in all its glory. While beautiful, the colors of spring quickly give way to the greens. 'Down here' it is like plant groups have their time on stage. Spring begins with the early bulbs in February and continues into April. Such fun. A new upper everyday! Spring is a joy -- save when a tornado tries to spoil the fun.
ReplyDeleteWe recently moved to Arizona. This will be our first spring here so we're having fun going around to all the nurseries and finding out what will grow in our desert environment. What has already been planted by previous owners is starting to bloom so we're trying to find other plantings to go with. We've also planted our first vegetable garden. It has been so nice to sit with the windows and slider open and stitch to the sight of the blossoms and birds frequenting our feeders.
ReplyDeleteLiving in the cold mid-Atlantic states my whole life has always made spring-time something to look forward to each year. I'll have to say my very favorite sight each April is the lacy effect that is created as the new leafs burst forth on the trees... It is just a lovely, lovely picture against the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteI love spring for the renewal we see and feel all around. It's so refreshing and cheerful to see the colors spring back to life in the flowers and the trees. I'm afraid I don't garden as I have a "brown" thumb, but enjoy others endeavors. Spring is also a great time for getting back outside and enjoying life - it gets too hot for that in the summer!!! I'm loving your designs and love watching each new one you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI love that spring is a time of new beginnings -- from the soft green of the new leaves to the brilliant color of the flowers. (And I always hope to get to my flowers before the deer do ;)
ReplyDeleteElaine

I love the sights & smells of spring. I know that spring has come, when I see robins & crocuses & other spring flowers popping up. Then

ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win you great charts

There are two things I love about Spring. First is that beautiful green color of the leaves on trees when the leaves are just coming out. It is the most beautiful shade of light green that I can't even describe. The second thing I love are the glorious smells....the flowers, fresh cut grass and even rain.
ReplyDeletebarb.reif@comcast.net
I just moved to Arizona so everything is new to me right now. Spring reminds me of new things: baby animals, new flowers, new outdoor projects. I think what I like most of all though is the smell of spring rain. It makes everything smell fresh, clean and new.

Spring is my favorite time of the year. Mostly due to the renewing of everything. I love all the flowers, my dogwoods, my smoke trees, magnolia and lilacs. The small garden will have tomatoes of course, lettuce, cucumbers, onions. Spring is such a beautiful time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway. I'd love to receive it.
I love spring because it represents the promise of renewal. The blooming of trees and flowers give life and color after the dismal winter. I love the various shades of green that I see in the foliage. Mother nature at her finest. Spring seems to have come early in the north this year, but seeing all the spring flowers was so welcome. I have this same feeling every spring.
ReplyDeleteMy email. Dimonty@aol.com
I enjoy Spring as it's a fresh new start to all things possible. Cleaning up the yard after it's long nap, starting seedlings for the vegetable raised beds, watching the periennials to see what will come besides the many little chores to ease into a slower summer. The best part of springtime is watching all the beautiful flowers and trees slowly coming back to life. I love sitting on the front porch in the early morning drinking my coffee and watching the birds and squirrels scatter around making discoveries of their own. Planting in the garden will be a while yet here in Maine but the first to come up will be the asparagus and rhubarb, YUM.

Oh the best part about spring time for me is the longer daylight hours. I love spending time outdoors stitching and watching our new puppy run about. It's a bit too early to plant much in the garden here but I love all the pansies I see right now.
ReplyDeleteReally nice of you to do another giveaway so quickly. I know whoever wins will be thrilled with their prize.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great opportunity. I love the watering can!! This time of the year I love all the flowers blooming but especially the lilac bushes! And a great time to sit outside and read a book!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about spring in Norway is the melting snow, the last ice cascades in the forests, water drops running faster and faster down the rocks... Spring is so special in this country. I love to do long walks with my doggie in the woods. Snow stays till May (this year being an exception, it's gone since long), days are long, the bright sun makes those walks so special. Nothing like to see the first little green leaves trying to force their way through beautiful, white snow. Nature awakes... so special. I am fond of peonies which tend to like our garden. I try to add new species each year. I love my raspberry bushes and wild strawberries in a darker corner, nothing like red berries in the summer over a cup of vanilla ice-cream! Each spring, the wood pecker is back in the old tree behind the house. The hedgehogs show up from time to time... I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing something beautiful around every turn as I drive. All the many colors of the trees and flowers are so inspiring after a mostly colorless winter.

The first sounds of spring are what I love best: the peepers in the evening, the red-winged blackbirds that have come back north, and soft rain falling when it's warm enough I can leave the windows open again.
ReplyDeleteAnd all the wonderful shades of green as the gardens come back to life are a close second!
Thanks, Belinda. Looking forward to seeing you this fall! ~Ruth

I enjoy the colors of spring - esp after a drab winter! Snowdrops bloom first in our garden, and the Lenten roses are beautiful. Daffodils are so cheerful! But my favorite spring bloomers are the Redbud trees and the azalea bushes, and later in spring, the mountain laurel (our state flower in PA). We have all of these in our yard.

Hi Brenda - what I love about spring is being able to have the doors/windows open and enjoy watching my kitties watch the birds and listening to them chirp and sing! I love watching them sunbathe in the sun coming in! I love to sit outdoors on my back patio and stitch! I would love to win those charts! Please enter me in the drawing!

Ah, springtime! I love everything about it -- even the rains. The temperatures warm, the flowers and trees bloom and leaf out, the grass turns green again and there's a definite smell in the air. It's a time of rebirth and transformation -- love it all!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in your generous drawing. What a fun stitch.

I love to see how everything comes alive in spring--the trees, the flowers even the grass. It how everything starts out fresh and clean. Our first granddaughter was born in spring 2 years ago and now our second grandchild--this time a grandson will be born in spring. Spring is the perfect start for all new things!

Living in Florida means a short springtime, but the heat has not set in yet, the evenings still cool down and flowers bloom. Love this time of year! I'm trying tomatoes and a bunch of herbs in a little garden this year. It's so fun to watch them grow. Thanks for the chance to win your beautiful designs.
