WOW! - I sure didn't expect so many entries...thank you all for reading my blog. There can only be one winner this time...and the Random Generator (as seen below) picked Stitching Kath from the United Kingdom...Kath, I have sent you an email. For those of you wondering about my numbering system...I started with number 1 for the first post and left out the two posts with "forgotten emails", one post from a friend that already has one (love you Terri), and one duplicate entrant...leaving us with 44 entries.
If you read my Monday post, you know there will be another giveaway in the near future...so please don't be discouraged...there will be more chances!
I have a full day today...including writing the Blue Ribbon Designs newsletter for October (visit the newsletter page on my website to subscribe), finishing up a new design chart, and some model stitching! Wishing you all a happy and productive day....

Another Embroidered Envelope & Last Chance for Giveaway
I am having so much fun playing with embroidered stationery...can you tell?! Here is the embroidery for another special envelope I am making on my sewing/embroidery machine. I just adore this Dupioni Silk pocket embroidered with rayon and metallic threads. The digitized embroidery design is from the same collection I have shared with you before - "Hoop! Sew! Go!" by Lena Mattsson. I hope to make all seventeen of the designs in this lovely collection...then start digitizing some of my own stationery pieces. It is such a joy to be able to combine my love of sewing, embroidery, and the hand-written note all in one project. I will post another photo when this envelope is completed....I was excited with the embroidery so far, so I just had to share...

One final note for today - this is your last chance to enter the giveaway for the needle case I posted last week (see below: Easy-To-Sew Stitching Gift & Giveaway) - I will be choosing a winner by random generator tomorrow morning (Wednesday, September 30th).

Finally A Finish - "Winter White Woodland"
After diligently stitching for the last couple weeks, I finally have sneak peek of a new design to show you...yes, you are "seeing it here first" on my blog. This upcoming design is titled "Winter White Woodland" (yes, I have a title!)...and I am hoping to release it sometime mid to late October. Like others in this series, it will have instructions to turn each square into a needlework small (ornament, hook hanger, or scissor fob)...so you can stitch it as a sampler and/or eight Christmas ornaments! ...and before I get a bunch of questions, the model is stitched on 40 count Nutmeg by Lakeside Linens with The Gentle Art Sampler Threads. I have another holiday release I am currently working on, so hopefully I will have more to show you soon. Keep an eye on my website in the next couple weeks for more specific details on this release ...

AMAZING Accessories!
Kelmscott Designs is also a distributor for several needlework designers, including one of my personal favorites ...when I was three designs..., who also has a new release for the St. Charles Market in a couple weeks called "it's all about the hat" - how cute is this?! A spooky wool pincushion hat embellished with ribbons, cording, fabrics...a bat flying past the moon...it even holds Orange Little Gems scissors (sold separately)...it is the perfect little Halloween treasure! The complete kit (minus a tiny bit of stuffing) has all the materials to make this "spooktacular" pincushion. Keep an eye out for this special design at your favorite needlework shop in the coming weeks....
With all the new designs, accessories, and supplies hitting the shelves of needlework shops this fall, I am absolutely positive you will be able to find the perfect project to add to your stash!! Take a little time to stitch....

In An Autumn Mood
I'm in an autumn mood...I'm not sure if it is because the weather is starting to finally cool...or all the hard work I have been doing on Halloween designs...or because school is back in session. In any case, today I felt the need to work on something for fall. This is a simple table runner went together rather quickly...it is one of those little laminated cards from Pieced Tree Patterns called "Frame Up" (#22). My local frame shop had a model made up using these fall colors and I knew it would look great with my Sage colored Longaberger dishes. I was drawn to the gorgeous large autumn print in the center - the gold accents really make it spectacular. I pieced the entire runner together and quilted it in an afternoon. A nice addition to an autumn table setting...
